Solo2 Wireless Headset is getting released this month for $299.95
The acquisition of Beats Electronics by Apple is officially finalized and the first product that is getting released after the deal is closed is already here. The Solo2 Wireless is on-ear headphones. It is a more advanced version of the Solo2 headphones.
The new accessory can be used both, via wireless connectivity and via the good ol’ cable. In terms of appearance the Solo2 Wireless resembles the original model. It uses Bluetooth connectivity that provides the impressive 30 feet of wireless range. It is packed with a battery that can keep it working for up to 12 hours of continuous playback according to the announced specs. If the user has forgotten to recharge the battery (something that we all forget from time to time) the provided Remote Talk TM cable in the package will make it easy to enjoy listening to your favorite music in the old-fashion way.
Solo2 Wireless is provided with a B button located on the ear cup of the headset. It is used for music playback and control of calls. The headset goes for sells in the end of November. It is with $100 more expensive than the original accessory and costs $299.95. The available colors for the model include blue, black, red and white. Apple is one of the companies that will offer the headset. The US carrier Verizon Wireless will launch the Solo2 Wireless in red exclusively in the end of the year.
Beats is releasing “Royal Editions” of the original Solo2 without wireless connectivity. They are adorned with satin finish and come in various colors, such as Hunter Green, Blush Rose, Stone Grey, Sapphire Blue and Imperial Violet. The new additions cost $199.95.
