The new updates for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch are launching, iOS 9.1 and watchOS 2.0.1
Apple is releasing new updates for the mobile platform and the software for wearable tech. iOS 9.1 and watchOS 2.0.1 are rolling out to the Apple’s devices.
iOS 9.1 brings some bug fixes, improved features and the anticipated by users 150 new emoji. Among the improved features is the Live Photos that now can detect when the user raises or lowers the iPhone. The software brings fixes to some bugs in the apps: Calendar, Game Center, Contacts, Mail and etc. The iOS 9.1 is compatible with Apple iPhone 4s and newer models, iPad mini and iPad 2 and newer and iPod 5th and 6th generation. You can check for the update by heading to Settings – General – Software Update. Don’t forget to charge the battery of the iPhone before you proceed to downloading and installing the iOS 9.1.
Users of Apple Watch will also enjoy improved software. The watchOS 2.0.1 is getting launched to for the smartwatches. It brings bug fixes, improvement of the battery performance and better functionality of some apps. Overall, it is not a major upgrade of the platform for wearable tech, but it provides solutions to some annoying issues of the devices, like the issue that allows the sensors to stay on indefinitely when using Siri for measuring of the heart rate. You can download the update by launching the Apple Watch app on the iPhone that is synced with the device. Go to General – Software Update. The Apple Watch must be connected to the charger while you are installing the watchOS 2.0.1.
