Apple iPhone SE is officially announced, packs a 4-inch display and abundance of features

It comes in a compact chassis with a 4-inch display. So many fans of iPhone have been missing the small-sized flagships after Apple changed its tradition for 4-inchers and replaced them with phablet-sized phones. The resolution of the new iPhone is 640 x 1136 pixels. The display is enriched with a Retina Flash that makes the screen brighter and a 3D Touch tech. The design of the iPhone SE reminds a lot to one of the most popular flagships of Apple from the last years, the Apple iPhone 5S. The new handset is made of metal and comes in different color variations, like Rose Gold, Silver, Gold and Space Gray.
The iPhone SE is a powerful device with Apple A9 chip inside and a dual-core Twister CPU clocked at 1.85GHz. The hardware configuration includes also a six-core PowerVR GT7600 for the graphics paired with M9 motion processor. The OS running on the iPhone SE is iOS 9.3. The primary camera of the new phone of Apple is a 12MP iSight sensor. It is the same camera that is integrated in the Apple iPhone 6s and its larger sibling, the iPhone 6s Plus. The secondary camera of iPhone SE is with a resolution of 1.2MP enriched with the Retina Flash. The new phone supports Apple Pay via NFC. Just like its predecessors, the iPhone SE features a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The battery of the phone is with a capacity of 1642mAh.
