Apple’s fans had a blast yesterday with a whole bunch of announcements of new devices, the launching of the iOS 9 and more. Let’s start with the tablets – Apple iPad Pro and Apple iPad Mini 4.

When first rumors for the early unveiling of the new generation slates from the iPad line started circulating in the tech world, many were sceptic about the speculations. The reason for this is the tradition of Apple for presenting the Apple iPad additions later in the year after the debut of the new iPhone smartphones. Fortunately for all the fans of Apple who are inpatient to see the new high-end devices, the mobile giant first introduced the Apple iPad Pro and Apple iPad Mini 4.

Apple iPad Pro fascinates with a large screen with 12.9-inches diagonal and 2048 x 2732p resolution. It has the same pixel density as the last year’s full-sized tablet Apple iPad Air 2 (264ppi). The CPU working under the hood of the slate is Apple A9x and it is almost twice faster than the A8x that powers the iPad Air 2. A lot of details around the specs of the iPad Pro are yet to be unveiled. It is known however that the battery of the tablet can keep it running for 10 hours in non-stop usage. Another interesting feature that will be appreciated by fans of the iPad models is the four speaker system. It supports automatic balance regardless of the position of the tablet.

Apple iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 debut in the US

Apple iPad Pro arrives with a unique stylus named Apple Pencil. It is especially designed for this model slate. The capabilities of the Apple Pencil are numerous. It can be used for drawing diagrams and anything else you like to draw. The apps working on the tablet are compatible with the Apple Pencil. It has a separate lightning port and needs recharging from time to time. Software-wise the Apple iPad Pro is running on iOS 9 out-of-the-box. The main snapper of the new full-sized slate is a rear 8MP iSight camera.

The tablet supports Wi-Fiac and Bluetooth and optional 4G LTE Cat.4. Among the extra features of the iPad Pro is the Touch ID sensor. The colors available for the device are Space Gray, Silver and Gold. The prices for the tablet are already announced. The iPad Pro with 32GB costs $799, 128GB costs $949. The LTE-enabled tablet can be yours for $1079 and it is outfitted with 128GB of storage. The slate is very slim for its size – just 6.9mm thick, and weighs 712 grams. Some of the accessories that will be available for the iPad Pro include Smart Keyboard.

Apple iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 are revealed

It is an external keyboard that is attached magnetically to the device. It costs $169. The Apple Pencil will be available for purchase for $99. The launching of the Apple iPad Pro is scheduled for November.

Apple iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 enter the tech arena

The full-sized tablet was accompanied by the new generation of the iPad Mini series. Apple iPad Mini 4 looks like a shrinked version of the Apple iPad Air 2. It sports a 7.9-inch screen. Under the hood of the tablet is provided Apple A8X chip with 64-bit architecture and 2GB RAM. There are three options for storage in the slate – 16GB, 64GB or 128GB. On the back of iPad Mini 4 lies an 8MP iSight camera. The price of the tablet starts at $399.
