Alcatel OneTouch Conquest and OneTouch Elevate are getting released in the States by Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile which is one of the pre-paid brands of Sprint officially added two new Alcatel-branded smartphones to its product range. Alcatel OneTouch Conquest and the Alcatel OneTouch Elevate are affordable handsets with compact panels and appealing designs.
Alcatel OneTouch Conquest is the more advanced device of the duo. It packs a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720p. It is protected with Dragontrail glass on top of it. The panel of the smartphone is with IP67 certificate which means that it is water-resistant for up to 30 min in up to 1 meter deep water. It is dust-resistant as well. The hardware provided in the device is with four cores clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. It is expandable via microSD cards. The software that is pre-installed on the OneTouch Conquest is Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone works with a 2500mAh battery. Among the advantages of the new handset at Boost Mobile is the support for 4G LTE connectivity. The price of the OneTouch Conquest is $129.99 off-contract.
The cheaper and more modest new addition of Alcatel that is landing on the shelves of Boost Mobile is Alcatel OneTouch Elevate. It is a 4.5-incher. Remember when the smartphones could be used with one hand? This handset sports slick design and a compact body. The CPU that powers the entry-level smartphone is quad-core CPU clocked at 1.1GHz. There are two nice surprises in the specs of the model – it supports 4G LTE connectivity, and it runs the latest update of the software Android 5.1 Lollipop. The main camera of the smartphone is a 5MP rear sensor. The secondary snapper is with a resolution of 2MP. OneTouch Elevate is powered by a 2000mAh cell. It costs $99.99 retail price. It is getting launched next month by Boost Mobile.
